Both Ghana @ 70 experiences begin with arrival in Accra on March 3, 2027. TATA offers the following installment payment schedules so travellers can spread the cost of their selected experience before departure.

Booking After an Installment Date

You can still join a Ghana @ 70 experience after an installment deadline, subject to availability. If you book after one or more payment deadlines have passed, all amounts that would already have been due must be paid at the time your reservation is confirmed.

Reservations made on or after January 2, 2027 require payment of the full package price at the time of booking.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans can change. Payments made toward your Ghana @ 70 reservation are refundable when a traveller cancels, subject to the deductions described below.

• A US$150 per-person administrative/cancellation fee will be deducted when a traveller cancels their reservation.
• Any documented non-refundable third-party or supplier costs already committed or paid specifically in connection with the traveller’s reservation may also be deducted.
• These costs may include non-refundable amounts relating to accommodation, airlines, domestic flights, ground transportation, attractions, local tour services or other suppliers involved in delivering the experience.
• Some Ghana-based travel services are coordinated and delivered through Moon Touch Travel & Tours. Where a non-refundable amount has already been committed or paid for a traveller’s reservation through Moon Touch or another supplier, that documented amount may form part of the applicable deduction.
• TATA will calculate the refundable balance based on payments received and applicable documented deductions at the time the cancellation is processed.

Because supplier commitments can increase as the departure date approaches, travellers who need to cancel should contact TATA as soon as possible.

If the Ghana @ 70 Departure Is Cancelled

If a Ghana @ 70 departure is cancelled because the minimum group requirement has not been met, amounts paid to TATA for the affected package will be refunded and the US$150 traveller cancellation fee will not apply.

If a departure is cancelled for another reason and no acceptable alternative arrangement is provided, travellers will be entitled to a refund of amounts paid to TATA for the affected package, subject to the applicable booking terms and any documented non-refundable amounts already committed specifically for the traveller’s booking. TATA will provide information regarding any applicable deductions.

TATA is not responsible for separately purchased international airfare or other independent travel arrangements unless expressly included in the package. Travellers should consider appropriate travel insurance for eligible cancellation, interruption, medical and other travel risks.

Important Booking Information

• Ghana @ 70 is presented by TATA in collaboration with Moon Touch Travel & Tours, our Ghana-based tour operating partner.
• TATA manages customer communication, reservations and customer payments. Moon Touch coordinates and delivers the Ghana-based tour operations and local travel services.
• All package prices shown on this page are in U.S. dollars (USD) and are per person.
• The US$500 reservation payment is credited toward the total package price; it is not an additional fee.
• Both packages currently provide single-occupancy accommodation.
• International airfare to and from Ghana is not included.
• The Grand Experience includes return domestic airfare between Accra and Tamale as described in the Grand itinerary.
• The Classic and Grand Experiences require a minimum of 12 confirmed paying travellers to operate as advertised.
• TATA expects to confirm the status of the Ghana @ 70 group departure by December 15, 2026.
• Travellers are responsible for passports, visas where applicable, vaccinations or health requirements, entry requirements and other personal travel documentation.
• Travel insurance is strongly recommended. Coverage, eligibility, exclusions and claims are determined by the insurance provider and the policy purchased.
• Itineraries may require reasonable changes because of flight schedules, supplier availability, weather, government arrangements, operational requirements or circumstances beyond the reasonable control of TATA or the operating partner.
• Specific Ghana @ 70 activities, venues and access arrangements for March 6, 2027 will be coordinated around officially announced anniversary activities and publicly accessible events as information becomes available.
